Andrew is a professional musician and teacher.  He studied at Canterbury Christ Church University achieving a BMus 2:1.  Since then he has performed professionally as a guitarist and session musician with many artists in many genres and at many venues.  These include corporate events, weddings, live festivals to name only a few.  These ensembles range from classical guitar solo work and Rock/Pop bands to jazz quartets and full jazz orchestras, along with countless recording studio sessions.  Andrew has also performed many times as a guitarist and session musician for the BBC and other large companies.  Recent session work includes being hired by the national radio station Absolute Radio to record a jazz guitar session in March 2022, which was played live on air.  Andrew is a professional music educator, teaching guitar and violin to close to 200 pupils on a weekly basis of all ages and abilities. This ranges from 1:1 sessions to small and large group situations.  Andrew has taught many pupils from beginner to advanced levels and across all grades and different exam boards.  Many of Andrew's pupils are now professional musicians in their own right.  Andrew is excellent at striking the balance between pupils loving and being inspired by their lessons and instilling musical discipline into his pupils.
